What does it mean to be transgender? What’s the relationship between gender and sexuality? What are some inequalities faced by transgender people? This panel presentation is your opportunity to learn more about transgender issues in our state and ask our panelists questions.
TransAction Day is the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network's
(GLSEN) annual national day to encourage dialogue about gender, gender
roles and the full range of gender identities, and to advocate for
inclusive, safe schools for all students. Western Carolina’s day of
Dialogue will be on Thursday, APRIL 8. ALL events will be held in the GRAND ROOM on the campus of Western Carolina University.
