2009 Equality North Carolina Conference Request for Proposals

Submit a workshop proposal for the 2009 Equality North Carolina Conference!

It's that time of year again: Time to share your knowledge, skills, and passion for LGBT rights in the form of a workshop proposal for the third annual Equality North Carolina Conference! We're looking for activists, thinkers, policy wonks, and general do-gooders from across the state interested in leading interactive discussions and presentations on topics of interest to LGBT and allied participants.

We are seeking proposals for workshops that educate participants on key issues or teach important skills for advancing an agenda of equality and justice. We encourage workshop proposals that focus on LGBT advocacy, policy, and politics in engaging and enlightening ways.

Click here to find proposal information, along with a handy workshop proposal application that can be filled out and e-mailed back to us.

Please spread the word, and we look forward to hearing your great ideas by July 31st! And whether you choose to submit a workshop proposal or not, be sure to mark Saturday, November 14th on your calendar for the 2009 Equality Conference and Gala in Greensboro!

Thanks!

...and if you want to submit a proposal but can't make the July 31st deadline, e-mail me at rebecca@equalitync.org to let us know a proposal's coming. Thanks!
