8/19/2010 - Equality NC Foundation is seeking nominations for its very first Equality Champion Awards, to be presented to individuals from across the state who are making important contributions to the LGBT equality movement in North Carolina.
Who inspires you to fight the good fight for equality in your community?
Who's your equality champion?
Along with the recipient of Equality NC Foundation's 2010 Legislative Leadership Award, our 2010 Equality Champions will be honored at the 2010 Equality Gala to be held the evening of Saturday, November 13, at the Empire Room in downtown Greensboro. They will be chosen from the following regions:
- Western Region
- Charlotte Region
- Triad Region
- Triangle Region
- Eastern Region
Equality NC Foundation will be taking nominations through September 15, so don't wait and nominate your champion today!
To make your nomination, please send an email to Kay at kay@equalitync.org with the following information:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your nominee's name, email address, and phone number
- Your nominee's region (Western, Charlotte, Triad, Triangle, or Eastern)
- Tell us about your nominee in 250 words or less
